How this powder preset differs

Powders are measured by weight, so the preset asks for a serving weight (default 1 scoop = 10 g) and lets you enter amounts per serving or per 100 g. It also covers sachets and stick packs.

  • Serving size wording. Use the household measure field for “1 Scoop” and the weight field for grams, giving “Serving Size 1 Scoop (10 g)”.
  • Servings per container. Net weight ÷ serving weight is rarely a whole number — the serving size calculator shows the remainder and lets you choose “About”.
  • Per 100 g specifications. If your supplier specification is per 100 g, choose that basis: the generator multiplies by the serving weight ÷ 100.
  • Protein and creatine powders. Protein may need declaring; %DV for protein is only shown when you opt in, because it requires a PDCAAS-corrected value. Creatine has no Daily Value and is listed below the bar.
  • Electrolyte stick packs. Sodium, potassium and chloride have US Daily Values (sodium 2,300 mg, potassium 4,700 mg, chloride 2,300 mg).

Worked example

A specification of 2,000 mg magnesium per 100 g with a 10 g scoop gives 2,000 × 10 ÷ 100 = 200 mg per serving → 48% DV.
