Editorial Policy

This policy covers guides, ingredient records, country pages and the text inside our tools.

• Sources. Statements about regulatory requirements cite an official source. Ingredient information cites official or peer-reviewed sources.
• Review dates. Pages that describe requirements show when they were last reviewed.
• No health claims. We describe ingredients for labeling purposes. We do not make or suggest health, disease or efficacy claims.
• No thin pages. We publish a page only when it helps with a distinct task. Pages still being prepared are kept out of search results.
• Independence. Advertising, when shown, is clearly labeled and does not influence content or tool results.
• Original work. Our text, tools and data structures are our own.
